Great Show at Stone Pony—Brooklyn on Saturday, Florida on Sunday!

Hi all, another great show last night at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. We headline at the Brooklyn Bowl tomorrow night and then a festival called “Hullaween” in Live Oak, FL on Sunday evening. We are in the process of booking the West Coast for February! Finally, we can bring our vicious brand of rock and roll to California, North up to Seattle, Portland, etc. Maybe even Vancouver again finally! Meanwhile, here are some great photos from last night’s mischief night gig in Jersey. thanks to Jenny for taking these:

New Song “Garry” from Taos, New Mexico

Here’s a song from my forthcoming album called “Garry”. It is another ballad (I’m becoming the king of the ballads somehow) dedicated to Garry Shider. hopefully he’s the last funkateer that I write a ballad for—his influence on me was immeasurable and hopefully this song does his memory and legacy some justice. Brother’s Keeper featuring Glenn McClelland on keyboards are the backing band—best band in the world. Enjoy! Filmed at Taos Mesa Brewery in Taos, New Mexico in July of 2014.

Wow—Where to begin.

I spent pretty much the whole month of August doing gigs in Colorado, New Mexico, the Midwest, the East Coast, etc. With a few different lineups as well—Brothers Keeper w/Glenn McClelland were the backing band in Colorado and NM and the tour was devastatingly tasty. Completely different setlists than the east coast gigs with the DWG, a lot more Ween tunes in Colorado and I am the primary lead singer, like I sing every song except 2, and I’m working on my mic skills in the hopes that eventually I’ll be the full-time singer. I used to sing a lot better, like when I was 13 years old, then puberty kicked in and now I sorta just grunt and howl like a wounded animal. People don’t seem to mind so much...

Get Ready New England—Heading your way.

Well, we are off again, this time to the North. We play Hamden, CT tomorrow at the Ballroom at the Outer Space, followed by Friday and Saturday at the Wellfleet Beachcomber, which might be the coolest beach bar on the planet. Here are some pics from last week—-make a road trip this weekend, take a long weekend off from work and let us melt your faces. If you don’t think it’s the best rock show of the year, our Bassist Dave Dreiwitz will personally refund your money. He told me to say that.

More Great Video from Big Flats 6/27/14

More cool video from Big Flats, NY.

A fan shot this video with a cell phone and I added the soundboard audio to it. This song was totally a group effort, I wrote and recorded the muisc while Gabe sat there and said “you should call it Nightcrawler. Later that night my buddy Dylan came over and he has a way with words and he wrote the lyrics in like 10 minutes, the next night Guy sang the lead vocal. Sexy serpentine groove
